The coral reef ecosystem critically affects 75% of oceanic creatures and is a major source of oxygen, hence the name “the lungs of the sea”. They are wiped out at an alarming rate due to human impact, pollution, and climate change. As the doom of this ecosystem seems irreversible, a man took it upon himself and decided to devote his career to saving these lungs of the ocean.

The project is a true story of those devoting their lives to marine preservation. The project took 3 consecutive days with 6 – 8 hours of night diving, shot by a Vietnamese crew entirely on the original iPhone camera. We aim to inspire and connect with like-minded people and spread awareness of the situation as well as Michael and his team’s vision.
